RED instruction under the EMC standards for Draft Standard V2.1.0 EN301489-1 (2016-04), have great changes in the following aspects
General requirements
Equipment shall be so designed and manufactured, having regard to the state of the art, as to ensure that:
(a) the electromagnetic disturbance generated does not exceed the level above which radio and telecommunications equipment or other equipment cannot operate as intended;
(b) it has a level of immunity to the electromagnetic disturbance to be expected in its intended use which allows it to operate without unacceptable degradation of its intended use.
The present document contains the common requirements for radio equipment and associated ancillary equipment, excluding broadcast receivers, in respect of Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC).
RF exclusion band applies to radio equipment with an operating frequency up to 6 GHz, or for equipment operating above 6 GHz, but whose RF bandwidth extends to a frequency below 6 GHz.
