Technical information required for application of KC certification
In order to obtain the KC Mark certification product manufacturer needs to apply to the EST certification body to apply for electronic product safety certification. The manufacturer here refers to a direct production plant.
When the same type of product is produced in different factories, each factory needs to apply for the KC Mark certification separately because the factory name is different.

2. Product description (or User's instruction) : Korean Version
3. List of critical components
4. Insulation materials (designated products)
5. Circuit Diagram of products
6. Letter of authorization (Letter of authorization)
7. Marking Label (Marking Label)
8. The factory investigation form (Questionaire)
9. Specification of Transformer
10. Prepare samples (the quantity of samples depends on the type of product) (Products)
Voltage within a 50 v to 1000 v electrical appliances have to do certification, KC certification program will be on January 1, 2009 to all electronic and electrical products mandatory use KC logo, will the new KC mark to replace the original EK mark
Application for KC certification requires submission of documents
If companies need to apply for the KC logo, they must first apply to the Korea Electrical Testing Institute (KETI) or Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL). If a product is produced by several independent factories, although the product is the same model, several factories should obtain the certification mark at the same time. Overseas manufacturers can apply directly or authorize local agents and representatives from South Korea.
